ATRIDOX ®
ATRIDOX ® is a major advancement in the treatment of periodontal disease. It is a controled-release locally applied antibiotic (LAA) that is placed gently below the gum line into periodontal pockets where bacteria thrive and cause infection. It is initially a flowable gel which solidifies on contact with saliva and slowly dissolves over 7 days.
In comparison, with the use of systemic antibiotics, initial concentrations of Atridox are up to 960 times greater than that of systemic antibiotics and at seven days, they are 740 times greater.
